The Pavilion

The Pavilion

Remember in high school when we thought Ms. [name withheld] was really OLD? Well, she was just 35 our senior year. So now our 20th reunion is coming up on October 11 — and guess what? We’re 38!

We should go.

I hear Kari and Peter are going to be there. Now that will be something to see — a 38-year-old Kari! Wonder if she’s changed much … And Peter – well, what can you say? If he’s grown a beard maybe he’ll look a bit older!

We should go.

Besides, we voted Peter and Kari our class’s “Cutest Couple” – won’t it be cute to see them together again? They haven’t seen each other all these years. You heard what happened between them, right?

The fireworks should be amazing.

And guess what? They’re holding the dinner and dance at The Pavilion. The old place is still standing! Maybe it’ll inspire one last fling. And they’re tearing it down soon after the reunion. Really, we should go. It’ll be like seeing a great Pulitzer Prize-nominated play!

I hear we should get tickets ahead of time.

They’ve set up a website to make it easy.

And check this out: It only costs $20! That’s a deal – especially since Kari and Peter will be reunited. Best of all, somehow they’ve figured out how to bring the whole thing back to life SIX TIMES: October 11, 12, 13; 18, 19, 20.

But I hear there’s lots of interest in this one.

We should get our tickets now.
