We begin the eleven week semester of Monday
night classes with the simplest nuts-and-bolts exercises in believability, proceed gradually to
short improvisations, and then (but only when
the actors are ready!) pick up our first scripts.
The fundamental skills of concentration, sense memory, emotional recall, characterization,
voice, and projection are introduced.
As a culminating project, everyone is assigned
a five-to-ten minute scene from a film or play.
We rehearse these in patient steps, test them in
front of the class, and then -- committed to the
proposition that all actors must eventually face an
audience -- perform them for up to fifty guests.
Class size limit: 12 (REGISTER TODAY!)
