has designed several shows in and around the New York area, including the Off-Broadway productions of A Naughty Night , The Bride of Olneyville Square , The Wool Gatherer , and Four Dogs and a Bone at the Harold Clurman Theatre, and Deathtrap and Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts. Jason also assisted F. Mitchell Dana in several productions, including Don Pasquale, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the Off-Broadway production of Murder in America .

Jason has designed and consulted for several regional and university theaters around the country. Currently Jason teaches and designs the lighting at Suffolk County Community College.
