Jeff Bennett has spent his professional life teaching theater, English, vocal music, and public speaking. He created Bare Bones to make theater education and the performance experience accessible to a broad audience of adults. In addition to staging over fifty high school shows, Jeff has presented compelling theater in Northport and Huntington for the past four years, including productions of The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney, and Nightmares & Daymares, an evening of one-act plays by Edward Albee, Elaine May, and Chistopher Durang. Jeff has directed plays at Queens College, Port Jefferson's Theater Three, and New York's Café La Mama, and is also the author of Secondary Stages: Revitalizing High School Theater. |
