Brooklyn Boy was the first full-length
play to mark the triumphant re-opening
of the long dormant Northport Theater.

successful novelist, , Eric Weiss, who
has become famous after many years

Frederick Stroppel has an impressive
resume among contemporary American
playwrights, including off-Broadway
productions of several of his best
comedies. The Bare Bones actors had always loved working with his material,
and when we learned in the spring of
2005 that Fred resides locally, we
decided to showcase a full evening
of his best pieces--with the generous
presence of the writer himself.
